We thank God for granting us this opportunity to reach out to you through our official website where we wish to share our belief and conviction on matters of Faith, our confidence and expectations as grounded on Hope and our love for unity and friendship in Charity. We are a Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of Nairobi, located in Shauri Moyo and under the shepherdess of St Joseph’s Missionary Society of the Mill Hill missionaries. As a community, we, the Fathers and our dear Christians, welcome you to St. Joseph and Mary catholic Parish, where together we journey on matters of faith and worship, so that together we may serve. Uniting our prayers and supporting our evangelization mission is to make Christ to truly live in our midst.

About Us
Small Christian Communities
There are currently 28 Small Christian Communities (Jumuiyas) and each of them come from the church’s environs. They all have moderators who head them. The jumuyias serve masses on Sundays as planned by the liturgy committee. It is worth noting that the jumuyias have patron saints that guide them when conducting their activities and include: St. Gabriel, St. Angela, St. Laurent and St. Veronica, only to mention a few.
The School
The parish has made a step ahead in assisting the community by building a school: Emmanuel Junior Catholic School, that began in 2015 with 7 pupils. We now have over 280 pupils and 20 teachers. The school is following the new curriculum and is up to grade 7. Its leadership is by the Church through Mrs.Faith Chepng’eno.
